Our 2017 Day of Caring was a huge success! 336 Volunteers were able to complete 36 projects throughout Routt County.
Held on May 24th, 2017 over 36 projects were completed throughout Routt County by 336 volunteers, including 154 children ranging from ages 5 through 18. 24 business and organizations contributed volunteer groups to the days record setting number of volunteers. Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers and the huge community impact that you made!
The collaborative Day of Caring group was able to complete 1008 volunteer hours, saving nonprofits $26,178 in labor costs!
Lunch was served at Bud Werner Memorial Library where we recognized our 5th Annual Adult Volunteer of the Year, Scott Havener, nominated by the Discovery Learning Center. We also recognized our 5th Annual Youth Volunteer of the Year, Abigail Berlet, nominated by Integrated Community.
