Providing assistance for individuals and families with utilities, including gas, electric, water, propane, and sewer. If you are not a current Lift Up client but need help, please bring proof that you are a Routt County resident.

Northwest Colorado Council of Governments
Provides residential weatherization on services to income qualified applicants which are proven to decrease utility bills monthly by 10-30%, sometimes more. Weatherization services include safety testing & repair or replacement, refrigerator replacement, and insulation and air sealing of storm windows & doors.

Routt County Department of Human Services
Helps qualifying low-income households cover part of their winter home heating costs from November 1 through April 30.

Utility Shut Off
Members who cannot pay their utility bills should contact their utility service provider to find out what accommodations are being made to assist customers during the outbreak and to notify them that they cannot pay their bill due to COVID-19.
Yampa Valley Sustainability Council
Provides home energy assessments and safety checks for all homes. Provides weatherization, air sealing, insulation and energy efficiency assistance for homeowners who apply and earn 80 percent or less of area median in- come. Also provides healthy home check-ups for quick home fixes, such as installing carbon monoxide detectors, for people who earn 805 or less of the medium income
