More Information About the Program
We are collecting school supplies for children who are attending a two week prep camp for kindergarten. This camp will help prepare children for school, teaching them how to sit and listen, follow instructions, use school supplies, etc.
As part of this camp, Women United will be collecting school supplies and assembling backpacks for the children. Imagine the delight on their face when they receive their very own backpack full of school supplies when they “graduate” the camp.
You may pick and choose what you would like to donate based on our Amazon Smile wishlist. If you would like to sponsor a child’s backpack, the total cost is approximately $100. Donate what you wish on our Amazon Smile Wish list here (You simply place your order and your order is shipped directly to Routt County United Way). We will then have all the supplies available at the Backpack & Bubbles event to create a backpack of required school supplies for each child.
Women United is a community of women giving at leadership and Tocqueville Society Giving levels ($1,000 or more each year) to Routt County United Way.
